When a tractor enters deep mud, rotational resistance on the tires increases exponentially. If the engine lacks sufficient torque backup, the RPM drops rapidly, causing the engine to stall.
Torque Reserve refers to the percentage by which an engine's torque can increase as the engine speed drops under heavy load.
